At first, here is the lyrics.

SPRING RAIN (春時雨 HARU SHIGURE) lyrics written by:(V)・∀・(V)KANIPAN.

 TASOGARE NI NOBIRU KAGE
 My shadow kengthens at dusk
 YOI NO MYOUJOU POTSURI HIKARU
 The evening star shines alone

 KOCHI HUKABA KAORI TATSU
When the wind is in the east, a small bud
 CHIISANA TSUBOMI OBORO NA TSUKI
has the scent. And there is the vague moon.

 HITOSHIREZU KUCHIBIRU WO KANDA
 I bit my lip silently.

 HARUSHIGURE SAEWATARU MIZU YO
A spring rain shower, clear water,
 KAZE YO OMOI WO HAKONDE
and wind, please carry my feeling.

AKATSUKI NI MADOROMU OMOI MABUTA NO YOUNA
To break hesitation that is like
 MAYOI WO TACHIKIRU TAMENI
heavy eyelids when I doze off in dawn
 TACHIAGARE
 Stand up.

 HANAKUMORI FURIMUITA
hazy weather in spring, I look back and
KAGAMI NI UTSURU SONO SUGATA WA
I saw myself in the mirror.

 YAKENO KARA KEMURI TATSU
Smoke stands from the burned field
KAGEROU GA YURE FUWARI KIETA YUME NO YOUNI
Waves of heat shimmered and disapperared like a dream.

TOOI HI NO TE NO NUKUMORI YO
That was warmth of the hand in the far-off days

HITORI DE TATTE HITORI DE ARUKI
I stand up alone, walk alone
HITORI DE ERABI JIBUN WO SAGASU
 choose alone, to find myself

 ITSUKA DAREKA TO WAKACHIAERU
I'm sure we can share my feeling someday.

I wrote this lyrics with the theme of plum. You can see the flower under the collar of Luka on my illustration.
The flower language of plum is "Independence", "Patience".

So I thought about independence from "parents" mainly to write the lyrics. In Japan February is the month that come near to graduation in March, and we should prepare for new starting in April.

In Japanese independence is "独立(DOKURITSU)".
独(doku) means ALONE.
立(ritsu) means STAND.
So 独立(DOKURITSU) means "standing alone". Independence is to stand alone.

But we should not mix up it with "Self-satisfaction".

I mean we must not forget that there is no one who can live alone. So we should think of independence from parents as standing alone but never forget the support from them and other people. Otherwise, the person would be Self-satisfaction.

Here is an easy analogy.
Even if we start to live in mountain or forest with self-sufficient, we must eat something. This is sacrifice to live that we can't avoid. And it makes us never be alone. We have some "background" as far as we live. We must not forget about it.
It's even more important as far as we live in human society without self-sufficient. Even if a person would be self-sufficient in forest, he/she was raised by the his/her parents before starting the self-sufficient. If we could not be raised by someone, we must die before independence.

So "standing alone" is not only to stand without reclining but also to be able to support other person who needs to recline. Anyway it should not be same as Self-satisfaction.

Under old Japanese calendars, February was included spring (now it's winter). So I used many "季語(KIGO)" to write the scenery in this lyrics.

季語 is "season word".
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kigo
There are so many 季語 and I used 季語 of February and spring for this song.
Because I remembered old Japanese song from Michizane Sugawara (about in 1006 A.D.).
KOCHI FUKABA NIOI OKOSEYO UME NO HANA, ARUJI NASHI TOTE HARU WO WASURUNA
This is one of 和歌(WAKA). I explain about this.

和歌(WAKA) is a style of ancient Japanese song.
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waka_(po%C3%A9sie_japonaise)
There is no pitch. But there is a rule for syllable 5-7-5-7-7 and use 1 季語(KIGO) for 1 song. If you make a 和歌(WAKA), you must write the lyrics 5-7-5-7-7 syllable and there must be 1 季語, okay?
So the song is written like this

KOCHI FUKABA (5 syllable and KOCHI is a 季語 for spring)
NIOI OKOSEYO (7 syllable)
UME NO HANA (5 syllable)

ARUJI NASHI TOTE (7 syllable)
HARU WO WASURUNA (7 syllable)

It means :
When an eastern wind blows, breathe your smell and send it on wind oh my plum. (5-7-5)
Even if I would not be there, never forget spring. (7-7)

When Michizane Sugawara had to move for his business, he sang this for his lovely plum that was at garden of his office.

This is a song for plum and a famous 和歌(WAKA). And I can regard this as song of independence if I force.
And 季語(KIGO) and 和歌(WAKA) is Japanese old culture. I thought that our Vocaloid original songs will be listened by many foreigner, so I used 季語 and explain about it here with the express purpose. This is related with JAPOKANI GAKUSHŪCHŌ.
These are 季語 for February in my lyrics.
東風(KOCHI) an eastern wind
(OBORO NA TSUKI) The vague moon
(HARUSHIGURE) the title of this song. Spring rain
(HANA KUMORI) cloud with flower
(YAKENO) burnt field

Next week we will diffuse a song of March !!!
Please be looking forward to it !!! ^^
